Day 10 – Favourite Eyeshadow
This one was a hard one…. I’m sorry I couldn’t choose just one favourite eyeshadow so I chose a couple to show you 🙂
Essence – Limited Edition ‘Hidden Stories’ Soufflé Eyeshadow in 01 Enter Wonderland
I fell in love with this as soon as I saw it, I tested it on the back of my hand and its a glorious silver (with a tiny hint of purple) mousse eyeshadow. If you blend it out well enough its perfect to highlight the corner of your eye.
Unfortunately this is no longer available as it was part of their winter collection.
L’oreal Infalliable Powder Eyeshadow in 032 Sassy Marshmallow
I actually got this in a goody bag that I won in a Facebook competition. I won a big selection of L’oreal candy themed items (eyeshadows, lip glosses and nail varnish) and I have savoured this one ever since.
It’s a mauve-grey/silver with flecks of pink and blue – supposedly marshmallow like? Anyway, I think it’s gorgeous 🙂
Maybelline Colour Tattoo in 20 Turquoise Forever, 05 Eternal Gold & 87 Mauve Crush
Who doesn’t love these? Their Gel-cream formula is long-lasting, they come in a huge variety of colours and I personally think they are essential to any makeup lovers collection! My favourite would have to be Mauve crush… can you see there’s a theme here?
Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow in Glitter Rock
I haven’t used this yet but I just think it’s beautiful. Urban Decay have a ‘Moondust’ range alongside their normal eyeshadow range and they are super-pigmented and chock full of shimmer and glitter. They apply quite sheer so perfect on top of a darker shade for a night out.
MAC Mineralize Eyeshadow in My Dark Magic
I am scared to use this. It’s part of the MAC Disney Villains collection, specifically Maleficent, and I treasure it with all my heart. I received this as a birthday present, it must’ve been five years ago now and I have looked after it lovingly ever since.
