There’s just something about HEMA and their Stationery department… it just draws me in. Luckily this time I had got the go ahead from Michael to go and get some bits and pieces as I am working on a small project and this means NEW STATIONERYYYYYY!!

I am now starting to think that ordering my first Memebox was a bad idea. It has sparked a love inside of me for cute Kawaii-styled Korean cosmetics…. Fortunately (well, depending what you order) they aren’t very expensive and the products are great!
I took to a new Facebook group that I joined called Memebox Addicts and asked them for recommendations on websites to use for first-time buyers. I had tried googling and I just didn’t trust the sites I found. I certainly don’t understand Korean and I didn’t want to use the likes of Ebay.
I was recommended a site called BeautynetKorea <– click for the link. I felt comfortable buying from a website multiple people had recommended and used before.
In total my order came to $64.80/£41.18/€52.26 which (for what I got) I thought was a bargain! The website also offers discounts to members (all you have to do is make an account on their site) and offers a point system too so you can get money off future orders.
The delivery can take anytime between 10 and 30 days. I ordered on 1st December and received my package today (17th Dec) so 16 days isn’t bad for free postage from Korea in my opinion.
I have always been a sucker for all things cute and I had been looking at Memebox for the past few months desperately wanting to order something but not quite sure what to go for.
Then I saw the ‘My Cute Wishlist’ added to their new boxes and I just knew I had to have it.
I had always wanted to try Korean Skincare and Cosmetic products as asides from the amazing kawaii-style packaging; they are supposedly very good for sensitive skin as well as amazing/innovative products.
Memebox is not a subscription box, but you order one off boxes which are delivered to you in the subscription style method. These boxes, from what I gather, always have a theme and always contain full sized products.
Words cannot describe how excited I was when I got my email saying it had been dispatched. You need to order these normally up to 2 months in advance before they are sent to you!
And then I got the pink box 🙂
